About My Crescendo
What began as a simple solution to prepare for a network event has emerged as a unique, annual program that supports and encourages Uplift Williams Preparatory School Lady Scholars on their journey from high school to college.
"Our initial meetings touched upon basics, like table etiquette. If we were lucky, we stumbled upon internship opportunities. It didn't take long to realize that the Scholars truly wanted for all tools, resources, and connections. It was time for definition and refinement."
Our programs begged re-definition and refinement.
It was time to make some changes!
With focus and commitment, we called upon our collaboration & Women of Williams (W.O.W.)
became official!
Our Story
Purpose
W.O.W. is an association of Dallas women professionals who share insights, talents & expertise with Uplift Williams Preparatory School Jr & Sr Lady Scholars.

Our collaboration builds character, develops confidence and encourages growth.

Annual programming provides opportunities to build relationships and address more than academic goals.
"Today, through our annual program, women professionals (attorneys, physicians, engineers, marketing representatives, accountants, nonprofit executives, realtors, bankers, and others) engage the Scholars with personal & professional development workshops, career-building strategies, goal-setting, network & internship opportunities."
Our Commitment
"Experience increases our appreciation of the circumstances and challenges facing the W.O.W. Scholars. From individual ambitions to familial college apprehensions & financial constraints, there are many obstacles."
As we grow, we continue to reflect upon and adjust our plans to meet the needs of these promising young women.
